Our mission

Building real skills, sparking new interest.

3D printers cost less than they ever have. What holds most young people back is not the kit, it is never having had a proper go at it.

We change that. We bring the machines, the tools and a friendly pair of hands, so a young person can make something real and walk away thinking they might do more of it. That first go is often what points someone towards a STEM subject, or a STEM career, later on.

Design and print
Model an idea, slice it, and watch a 3D printer turn it into something to take home.
Code and build
Get going with Arduino, electronics and simple programming, one step at a time.

Common questions

STEM workshops for children, explained.

What are STEM workshops for children?

STEM workshops are hands-on sessions where children design, code and 3D print something real to take home. We bring the machines, tools and materials to your school, Scout group or event anywhere in the UK, and no prior knowledge is needed.

What ages and year groups are the workshops for?

From primary-age children (Key Stage 1) through to secondary (Key Stage 4), and Scouts from Beavers to Explorers. We set the level to match the group.

Where in the UK do you run workshops?

Anywhere in the UK. We deliver on-site at your school, Scout hut, hall, campsite, fair or festival, and bring the whole lab with us.

Do children need any experience or equipment?

No. No prior knowledge is needed and we provide everything. Every child designs and makes something to take home, whatever their starting point.
